Badlands comes with either MGV or leather trim. I just read at Ford.com that if you get the leather trim, your flooring will be carpet instead of the rubber. Can anyone confirm?

This was something I didn't see in the Bronco configurator, but only just came across in the details about the different models. Now I'm concerned, because I was looking forward to not having carpet flooring - and I already have a VIN.

yes, carpet with leather (who knows why...) but I don't know if anyone looked yet if the "wash out" floor is just underneath that carpet or if it's something different. I haven't seen a BL yet.

Chances are that Ford wants owners to think twice about washing out a vehicle with carpet to avoid damaging the seat electronics.

This is my ski bus in the winter, so it will get lots of snow and mud on the floor even while the seats stay clean. I didn't need "wash out" so much as "rinse out". That would have been fantastic.

It sounds like I will need to get a bunch of weathertech then. Oh well.

I just got my badlands the other day with MGV and washout floors. It's pretty neat. Under the floor mats theres little plugs you twist out to drain the water to the ground.

Yeah once I figured that out, I ditched my leather and got the MGV. Used the savings to upgrade mid to high package. Bronco is on the train now.

The leather seats had better come with carpet. I absolutely do not want rubber floors.

You can always pull the carpet and do a spray in bedliner.

So this is sort of old news and well documented.

The one thing I don't fully know, is that you cannot get power seats with the two door, so the question is, if you add leather to a two-door do you still get the carpet?
