Question: Any 2dr owner have MIC top issues?

Question: Any 2dr owner have MIC top issues? The MIC top problems I have seen seem to be preeent on 4 door models, but haven't seen 2 door models, post-delivery, with issues. I haven't seen where somebody mentioned it, but I have seen many posts from people who are very happy with the delivered 2 door product I know there are fewer of these 2 door models and/or maybe I missed their post.

There does seem to be consistency and quality issues with some tops, but wondered if it is isolated to the 4 door or extends to the 2 door also.

From what I've read here, several issues cross both models:

• warping / flexing around the roof mounting bolts in the cargo area
• thin top laminate layer producing the "snakeskin" appearance
• unsealed / unfinished edges compromising internal water integrity

Supposedly, the 4-door model is also more prone to sinking in on itself

Thank you. I assume that was the case, but I don't remember seeing posts showing two-door models with that problem. For some reason I only recollect seeing the four door models. When I searched back through the forum, I didn't turn up anything.

PremierDrum is ~ a month post delivery...his 4-door has All the issues. Check it out

But his is not a 2-door. This is a great question. I haven’t seen any with issues either

I’ve only seen the limited 2 doors going to warm climates. Probably don’t care as much.

Barring a big issue, I will take ownership of the Bronco and address any issues that arise.

Hey Jim, I'm starting to like that guy's videos. Stumbled on him a month or so back. Seems to be a new channel, but he's got a good approach, but not trying to present himself as having inside information.

Basically, he's a good summary of the forums (Us and Bronco Nation) and other Ford news sources and he seems to wheel.

Channel is hardly viewed, but he's entertaining and is steady good Bronco convo and content. More should check him out.

The worst of the defects are typically on the clamshell, and apply to both 2 dr and 4 dr.

My issue is, neither the top or my two door to this date, has even been imagined by Ford.
