yeah....but the question is HOW to address them:Barring a big issue, I will take ownership of the Bronco and address any issues that arise.
And I think some folks are being a bit too cavalier in their expectations of later replacement tops. Blatant defects will be easier in terms of replacement - some big crack or delamination. But tops that have more marginal or cosmetic issues - that could be more of a struggle.yeah....but the question is HOW to address them:
At this point I'm happy to let my 7/15 build ripen at MAP for awhile & see what it looks like in a month. Hopefully they don't swap tops just prior to shipping
- If the top laminate coat is insufficient to hide the beehive, nothing you can do
- If the roof mounting panel warps/flexes, nothing you can do
- I pinged my dealer to inquire about sealing unfinished edges; got this reply: "I can’t help you find a homemade solution to any issue that may arise. We would not modify any customer’s tops here at the dealership. Dearborn isn’t telling us anything either"
Agreed.....free pineapple pizza to whoever gets a second top for freeAnd I think some folks are being a bit too cavalier in their expectations of later replacement tops.
Pretty obvious the way you address new tops going forward is a thicker layer plastic wrapping the honeycomb, make it more rigid and you wont see the bs inside. May have to make mold overlap edges and hand trim and machine sand edge so that it isn't delaminated.yeah....but the question is HOW to address them:
