I won't be gazing through the side windows.. maybe a solid glass in the very back, but its not like I'm rolling by a Bronco thinking about how wavy the windows are. IMO

Everyone has their preferences on aesthetics. From colors, to beauty rings, to mods.

I acknowledge the soft top looks "wavy," but I just don't believe it's that serious to where people are going to "laugh at you" driving down the road. I mean, I WILL laugh at you if you have a grumper or low profile tires or something, but not if your soft top looks a bit loose.

The thing is meant to be down more than up - otherwise, why would you have one (discounting MIC/MOD failure to launch)? We probably wouldn't even be discussing this so much if the hard tops were available and manufactured correctly for those who want them. It's unfortunate. Aftermarket will probably make all of this moot at some point as well.

I think it's just built for function more than form, and that's good enough for me. It kind of goes with the entire off-roading mentality honestly. We complain about a wavy soft top but at the same time malign "mall crawlers" or "grocery getters."

Last thought is that I've been subject to waaay too much outdoor gear that was engineered with too little tolerance in the seams and zippers -etc. that ended up failing due to all the tension. I believe the top itself might be under a bit less stress this way. Time will tell!

Good idea but I cannot tell what he's using/doing there. Like a wiring butt connector?
Yeah, I think is just filling in the gap between the clip and it's attached strap with a standard wire butt connector. I believe the idea is to help add a bit more tension.

I wish I could apply the cost of the bronco Ford soft top to a bestop fastback top. Prefer the bestop brand and look.
I’m in the boat! I wish it were an option!

OK I guess that makes sense. I'll have to take a look in person.

Not even close. Super saggy on all three windows. …sadly
Ford Bronco Question for those with Soft Top -- is yours 'loose' and rear windows wavy / wrinkled? 20210809_141048
After seeing almost no Broncos am now seeing the soft top builds hitting the street. On every one the back windows looks wavy / saggy. Not a good look at all.
