Your dealer should have caught that when they did their PDI inspection. Unless they rushed or half assed it. But that is fairly common from the factory to come way over recommended. But I was amazing how high of a PSI Ford recommends for the Bronco. Most vehicles I ever owned were always around 29-32psi cold. When I first took deliver I could tell just by driving it the tire pressure felt high. But it was at spec. I'll probably lower it a bit for comfort.
It could definitely go lower. Still a small footprint at 39 psi. I measured before and after using the chalk method. Didn't really grow at all from 50psi, but it did smooth out. I bet you could even do 35 with no drop in MPG.

Wait. You got yours? When? We had the same build and ship date.
Yo! I've had it for 4 days now I think?
It was 15 days on the train and about 4 in the yard.

Call your dealer, have them call the train yard. Mine was destined to sit a while at the drop off yard, but a call from my dealer got it there 12 hours later. They quoted 24-48.

Ford takes their time apparently signing for the shipment at the receiving train yard, and somehow the train yard was able to get it handled. Don't know the details.

Is that your delivery for the Bronco? Coolest vehicle I've ever owned, by far.
Hahaha you are right I shouldn’t get ahead of myself. Production date of nov 15th, realllllllly hoping I don’t get pushed. I have seen a lot of people with multiple build dates pushed to my week or the week after. I’ve seen people my week get pushed to the week after.
Almost afraid to check at this point.

My Bronco still doesn't say delivered. Says it's coming 11/2. What a joke.
I check on mine daily. It still says next week for est delivery. Dealer never could get me a rail car number. They even printed out the report for me. Only thing on there was that it was in IL at a yard. (this was a couple weeks ago)

That's what mine said until I got the car number. Still does say Illinois, for the record. That's the last train yard Ford accepted delivery at I believe. Since it's not checked in at the receiving yard, it still shows the last place it was.

When you call the 800 number with the rail car number, itll say the real status. No clue why the Ford system isn't real time.

I did the search thing, didn't see this. Just a quick PSA.. My Sas came with PSI WELL over factory specs (50+ psi) and I noticed it because the ride was fairly terrible. TPS saw it high and confirmed with ARB pressure gauge.

Dropping PSI to 39 (cold pressure) as stated on door sticker improved the ride DRAMATICALLY. Feels soft, supple now instead of rattling my teeth fillings out.

TL;DR - Check Tire PSI, reduce as needed, profit.
What the hell is the purpose of the dealership Pdi they should be on top of this shit

Same in our Wrangler. 49 psi from the factory. Seems high 40s is normal for the shipping vehicles. The dealer SHOULD air them down during their inspection, but that doesn't always happen.

I went all the way down to 32 for the summer, and the ride is significantly better

O Christ it has the rough delaminating edges already I’m starting to think this whole mic top can not be built correct or all the people at webasto ride the short bus. Wonder if they put a 1.0 on bye accident

Goodyear says max PSI is 35.

Ford says keep it at 39.

🤷🏻‍♂️ I stay at 37.
