I saw this Carmine Red Satin Wrap that I really liked. May have to go the wrap route if Ford doesn't do anything.
Hot Pepper Red is not Maroon.Every trim level has Race Red except for the Everglades and the Bronco Raptor. Ford needs to bring back Race Red for these trim levels or create a new red that is a true red for these trim levels. I am so tired of the Maroonish reds (Hot Pepper Red & Rapid Red). Ford if you are listening please bring Race Red back for the Raptor or make a new Red that is a true Fire Red. No more Maroon for the love of God.
It's not Maroon but it is Maroonish and definately not a true red. Maybe like a burnt orange Maroonish.
Yes it's a red but it ain't the red I like at all. Hot Pepper and Race Red are nowhere close to each other.
Yeah but not maroon. Btw, Lexus has/had an awesome red similar to the Mazda. Saw it on an LC500 in the Florida sun wearing black Oakley Prizm Polarized glasses and was blown away.
I don't think any color dominates in hot pepper red that includes maroon, orange, or any shade of red. That is why I don't like that color.

There's a part of me that loves the fact that the Raptor doesn't come in Race Red.
Under certain light conditions it looks amazing actually. When I see Hot Pepper Red on the online configurator I love it but that is not how that color looks like in real life at all. At least not 90% of the time. That's the thing with metallic colors.
To me, Hot Pepper Red looks like it's more of a metallic burnt sienna than anything else. I've seen four or five in person. They always look like that to me.
