THIS! Everyone is bitching and moaning about how it looks. Very few people have seen it in person. And nobody’s seen a real one yet, cuz production doesn’t start until March.
Exactly. There are MULTIPLE stages to preproduction. Not every preproduction vehicle out there is covered in camo. I will say with 100% certainly that this (and every other bronco you’ve “seen”) has many parts that are not production ready. Especially interiors. If you look closely at these pics you can even see that the majority of the panels (specifically the rear ones) don’t even have grain/texture to them. That’s a trademark of preproduction stuff.

Notice modular steel front bumper but still has plastic rear bumper. Might be the answer to the question of “does the optional front steel bumper include the steel rear”...

Red with a blue interior? Wow! There must be some color blind engineers on this project! Why not have a black option for all trim levels?

Can you scoot the back seats back (while the doors aren't there)?

Also which version is this - sasquatch?

Change out two seat panels in the center of the seat, and my heartburn over the two tone goes away. There’s two thin panels of light gray in the center at the transition between seat back and bottom. Make those two panels blue like the rest of the seat center (global corresponding change across all trims) and it’s not chopped up any more. I’m still with the solid black / gray / tan options across all trims crowd, but making their backed up ideas flow better would eliminate a percentage of the hate.

Hell, even the Sport interior managed to pull off the two tone interior in a way that doesn’t suck near as bad. with all the things that Bronco Sport got right (rubberized seat backs, standard rubber interior, seats that don’t suck as bad, etc) I’m starting to see signs of an internal war at Ford interior design that ended with the guy who knew what he was doing saying “screw all y’all (“everybody” if you’re city people); I’m taking my toys and going to work on the Sport project.”

I come bearing more gifts.

additionally I had the pleasure of sitting in the 4dr today. Quite roomy for the driver. Back seats are as cramped as they are on the Wrangler. Interior quality is what you’d expect, good amount of plastics, nothing really soft touch. It’s nice though for what it is.

About time...! Awesome photos of a attractive OBX. I was on the verge of changing my reservation to the Poster Child Badlands until I saw these nice pics of my OBX with Squacth package. Keep the OBX love coming Ford. Thank you!

My gut tells me we might not have a rear steel bumper for 2021.

After we take delivery, you think - just like the tops - Ford's gonna just mail us parts as they become available? :)

I think shipping big items might get a little pricey, doubt they will ship tops. As far as things like roof racks, Safari bars or offroad lights, I can definitly see that happening. I believe our only option on the tops is take what they are offering or wait for late availablity. I originally was going to just take the Gray MIC on my wildtrak. but know I'm leaning towards waiting on the Black MOD Hardtop. Waiting a few months isn't going to kill me, in the end I'll get what I want and my Rubicon only has 53k on it.

Great photos. Thank you.

I want that step, but it's not available on the Base. At 5'9", did you have to use the step to get in? I'm a bit shorter and hoping I can get into a Basquatch without too much trouble till aftermarket parts are available.

There have been a few threads about step-in height but lots of conflicting info so I'm not sure what to believe.

Hopefully the final B&P release adds a few items & sheds light on late avail timelines. I'm the opposite of you....was gonna wait, then decided on an Iconic BD, so I'm thinking that'll work for me with MIC. Of course, the BD description still notes a steel rear bumper - so I'm hoping for the best
