Any one here scheduled for the off-rodeo in New Hampshire this Saturday 10/30?

I am and I'm kind of pissed / nervous about the weather. It looks like it's going to be raining literally all day.

Does anyone have any experience with rain and the off-rodeo?

I was really looking forward to the campfire etc.

Not going your day, but the next weekend. We might get snow. I hope the crew is prepped!

Many people prefer it in the rain!! Nothing more classic off-roading than getting the Bronco covered in mud, it’s extra fun to play around in just be sure to bring warm layers and good shoes. Basic ponchos are provided, so if you have a better waterproof layer that’s a good option to bring one.

I went back on Labor Day weekend and it rained the night before and rained the afternoon/evening I was there.

The rain aided in making conditions more treacherous (read: better) for the off-roadeo since I was there to learn how to deal with conditions like that.

My campfire/cookout was cancelled, but they had boxed meals and people stayed in the Bronco lodge to eat and chat for an hour or so. I didn't really miss the campfire, fwiw.

There is never a cookout. Dinner is a catered buffet set up inside with live entertainment.

The day will be so incredible that you’ll forget all about the fire in the evening.

Note* only lunch is boxed, dinner is buffet.

Ah yes, good catch. Dinner was buffet. But in any case, I didn't mind the lack of campfire.
Damn. Good point though.

Super excited for tomorrow. Going to drive up to Tilton today.

i Actually sold mine just under a year ago too. it was to get the bronco, and the RS wasnt the best daily.

Sold it for a Q5 3.0T (which i immediately tuned), and will sell the Q5 for the bronco.

Really miss the RS haha

It rained a couple days before my experience there so the ground was pretty muddy which led to some great moments! My experience shared here if you’re interested and want a couple area highlights (talking to OP or anyone else just browsing the thread on that one!)

PS: @Shannonbear if I’m connecting the right dots here, you get a couple shout outs in this :)
