They don't have side panels for the windows yet. Assume coming out soon. Would like for them to attach to truck like competitors version compared to other competitors version lol.
My mistake. I thought I saw a post around here stating the panels were included.

Here is a video removing the hardtop, sorry it took a while!

Anyone have this issue when trying to remove panels? The fairing is in the way. That nut us the biggest pain in the ass on the entire install as well.

Can you show or give a little more detail on exactly where the problem is? I’m pretty sure I can help you out with this

Is it the button head bolts? There was a mixup of black oxide steel hardware early on that should have been black zinc plated stainless, if that’s your problem we’d be happy to send you a new set!

The button heads and the black oxide carrige bolts, the button heads are the ones without stamped markings, I emailed awhile ago...haven't followed up with you.

My issue is the extra extruding part of the fairing. I assume all are similar, you can see where it sticks out further in my picture in prior post. I had to remove lower bolt on each side and push fairing out. Them the panel would remove. Without removing the bolt it couldn't slide out. Not the end of world but just an extra few minutes and as mentioned I hate that lower bolt amd nut as dropped the nut and then had to fish out from the fairing/ accessory area.

In your video hard to see of you have fairing in place but didn't appear to have that extra section in the way.

Ok I understand, you are referring to the brackets that secures the front of the rack, not the fairing specifically. We’ve since updated the brackets specifically for that reason which should resolve your problem. Would be more than happy to send you out a new set of brackets just give me your last name or Inv. # so I can look it up.

Now that a few people have installed this rack, did there seem to be any change in the wind noise?
I seem to have one of the noisy roofs and wonder if that deflector keeps the roof from making as much noise or if the rack noise counters any improvement?

I just signed up. $235 off for tax season? $1000 and I’m camping on the beach in a few weeks? Yes!

I’ll follow up with install and real world usage experience. But, there are some real nice attentions to detail that some other manufacturers missed out on.

I just put the 2-door version on. I can say the wind noise change is negligible. There may be SLIGHTLY more but it’s hard to tell a difference.

And it looks like they fixed my only qualm with the new front brackets by having the bottom of the fairing line up with the window perfectly. It now hides the accessory mount locations perfectly. I’m excited to get mine delivered and mounted.

My main question - how difficult/easy is it to take the front section of the rack off?

So I think I actually have the old front bracket as I actually had to modify mine a little bit to get it to tuck closer to the windshield glass. I was getting a vicious flutter vibration when I’d hit around 60mph from the wind fairing and found that when I was able to lower it tighter to the car it doesn’t do it. So perhaps I actually need to reach out to them and get the updated brackets.

That said now that they’re lower I don’t have much of an issue getting the front two roof panels off. It’s definitely tricky and takes a little technique that you figure out the first time you do it but it’s not hard. The first time will probably take you 5 minutes of wiggling until you see exactly where to push on first then it’s no issue from there. Getting back on is the same story.

EDIT: Just saw you were asking about the front section of the rack - if you mean the side fairings then they’re not hard although I leave mine off full time just so I don’t have to mess with taking them off to remove the roof.
