Which trim is that? The grill looks like Badlands but the bumper doesn't.
There's... well... some debate on that.

Originally this thread was posted as it being the "Badlands"... but after some closer inspection I wonder if this might be a hybrid pre-production demonstrator that doesn't actually align with a production trim level.

On those exposed bare chassis pics, the hitch was just center bolted to the rear crossmember. Needs to go to the frame rails to be proper class III legit.
But I believe that crossmember was fully boxed and attached to the frame rails so it should be as strong as a hitch crossbar with ears bolted to the frame rail

you can't get the yellow one looking like that from the factory. as in, the dealer will have those tires and things at the dealership ready to install so you can have offroad goodies and still have factory warranty
Nice ??

Do you know the axle ratio on that model? If it was a highway gear that 0 to 20 can suck, with the right gear it can be alot snappier.
No clue what the axle ratio was. And I just tried to do some vin decoder sites using the vin from the dealer's website and none of them happen to show gear ratios. No idea if the Lariat's all have same gear ratios or not. But like I said, starting from a stop, definite lag.

Looks like the "tailgate drawer" would have to be raised up off the floor a bit to clear the back lip. I wonder if that would make it sit higher than the 2nd row seats when they are folded.

Short version:
It was peppy and had good acceleration when the turbo kicked in. That's the good part.
Start from stop - weak and gutless. I wouldn't feel comfortable trying to tow with it.
So if you don't plan on towing it could be a fun little engine. But when I get the gas, I expect it to go... This engine had a hesitation to it.
I dunno how it could it could be classified as wimpy. That motor cranks in the Focus RS. May be this Bronco is just not for you?

Hence I said I will most likely go with the V6.

And as for wimpy, it didn't feel like it had any power... it felt like a Focus RS engine... belongs in a tiny little car. Just my opinion.

Kinda sucks that the 6 doesnt get 3 pedals, that would be awesome
