Not sure how this is "trying really hard". This is a pretty standard drive to the mountains and back for me. In fact I'd say the conditions weren't that great for getting good fuel economy. Heavy wind, lots of hills, snow, multiple stops, etc. Also had a passenger, and gear in the back.

My 2 door Sasquatch with 2.7 is a guzzler and empties the (small) tank fast. I can't drive it to work as the tank is too small and have to gas it up every other day. My commute is very long. So I am saving it for retirement to drive it around town in 2 years when I don't have to do so much driving. For when I do drive it though I get 22.1. If only the tank was bigger or it had dual tanks.

Lol ok man 😂😂. I stand by what I said. I wasn't "trying really hard" to get good mileage, as evidence by my detailed trip report. I was trying to give others on this forum a good data point backed up with real world details.

I'm sorry my experience doesn't match perfectly with how you think things should be, but I suggest you get used to it because that's life my man.

I never see over 13MPG. Even in eco mode.
Before the lift/tires I was seeing about 15MPG.

Badlands, Sas but on 3” lift and 37s.

Avg 20.0 MPG after 13K miles. 4DR big bend, 2.3L, 4.27 E-locker rear, 33" Kenda Klever AT2s. 87 Octane gas. Pretty happy with that. First 5000 miles were pretty bad though, these take a long time to break in I guess...

Yeah I'm expecting my MPG to go down as I do more city start stop driving. Currently averaging 19.3 overall in the last 900 miles but that's probably 70%+ highway commuting.

Well... I used to get 18.7MPG when I baby'ed the first thousand mile...
Until I started to drive fast and quick, now I'm getting 17.9MPG.
Not bad I guess, still above the rated MPG.

Fast - People in CT's flow of traffic in the early morning I would say are around 75 - 85mph most of the time in the freaking middle lane. I just go with the flow I guess....

Quick - I've been occasionally flooring during a light since I realized it can actually beat V8 trucks, Subarus WRXs and some BMWs. Man, I love to smoke those janky, loud, they think they are quick cars.

We seem to be getting better mileage after I stopped putting it in eco. Mileage is almost exclusively freeway but we’re getting around 21. Still less than 2000 miles so not pushing like crazy. 2DR 2.7 OBX with stock tires. Just swapped some BD takeoff steelies with the generals and expecting it to drop significantly.

I have a 2-door Base with 2.7 and automatic, and 3.73 rear end. These figures are with the 16" steelies on them. At 65 I can get 23 MPG. At 68 I get around 22.8. At 70 I get around 22 MPG. I've got around 500 miles on the engine, and these are highway miles except I do a 1400 foot climb, and then back again where I'm going (Sierra foothills).

Just got some OBX tires put on, and will post results for what those 32" tires give me (calculating for the size difference on my own).
