My 2DR base 2.3L non-SAS auto trans I get 23 MPG to 24 MPG on road trips with some slow travel but not as much as your snow. So your 20+ for the 2.7L with some slow snow driving seems in the ball park.

My BD SAS on the other hand really struggles to get over 18. That is what 35 in tires and different diff ration gets you.

I honestly don’t believe anything above 20mpg. Maybe I’m a bit bias with 4d it just doesn’t seem realistic atm unless your going never above 2 rpm ever.
I can't speak for the 4-door but my 2-door sasquatch averaged 19.2 over 1100 miles (hand-calculated) when driving around eastern Tennessee last year. Some of that was on the Dragon and I never baby things so I would certainly believe 20+ mpg on a non-sasquatch Bronco with its lighter tires and more efficient gear ratio. Speed kills the Bronco so the interstate MPG doing 77+ was more like 18.

2.7 4dr SAS with 3409 miles averaging 15.2 mpg. Mostly city driving and I live in the hills. Best I get on the highway is 18mpg. Tire pressure at 36psi. I was expecting 15 mpg before I got her so it's all good. Heavy foot, 35's, 4.7 gearing and tune are probably to blame but you can't wipe off the grin on my face every time I take her out.

I'll be interested to see what my base 2 door 2.7 Sas gets when it arrives. We're still in the middle of winter gas season so that always drops mpg by 2-4. For comparison, my old 2013 Tacoma reg cab with the 2.7 4 cyl, 4 speed auto, 3" lift, 4.10 gears and 33" tires averaged 16 mpg and would get 18-19 mpg on highway runs (under 70 mph). Then my 2010 Silverado reg cab 5.3 v8, 6 speed auto, level kit, 3.42 gears and 33" tires averaged 14.5 mpg and would get 18-18.5 on the highway. Both dropped down to the 13-13.5 mpg range in winter due to the gas and cold air. I don't get on the highway much, so most of my driving is 45 mph and under. I expect the Bronco to be in the 15-16 range in warm weather so we'll see what happens when it arrives.

I went from steel-rims (30s) to some 32 OBX tires/rims. As I said previously I have the 3.73 rear end.

Just checked for 111 mile trip (out and back)... gaining about 2000 feet in altitude... and then lost it (of course on the way back). 98% was on the highway going 68 miles per hour (set the cruise control)... with maybe just a little stop-and-go.

Mileage about 21.9 at 68 miles per hour, with the 2.7 engine. That of course... is with me calculating the difference between the tire sizes. Never took it out of "normal" mode.

My 2.7 black diamond non sas 4 door averages between 17 and 18. I think the rearend gears play a role in that especially at 75+ on the freeway.

I think a big difference will be had if you go over 70 also. I tend to go about 68, but noticed that above 70 my mileage really goes down.

Question (for anyone) -- has anybody tried the different GOAT modes to see what difference they make? I haven't.

First 7,300 miles (33 tank fills), graphically. MPG calculated by odometer miles divided by gas tank volume on the refill.

2-door BB, badlands takeoff wheels, 2.7L.
Mix of highway and city driving. Sometimes bat out of hell, sometimes idling, sometimes insano traffic.

Cumulatively across the entire life of the vehicle, 17.2 mpg.

4dr 2.7 Badsquatch Avg 19 over 8000 miles. See attached. Guessing 50/50 mixed driving with 15min remote start many morning of late. Reset main odo at 1000miles and had performance pack installed for last 1000. Largest impact factors a.) Driving over 70 b.) Coasting toward stops.

Wow... 19 MPG with a Badsquatch -- that's amazing. Especially with the description of your driving.

You know one thing I've been thinking about (being here in CA)... people should also be reporting whether they are USING ETHANOL "enhanced" gasoline or just plain old REAL gasoline. I know that ethanol decreases MPG a bit. I believe I'm always filling up (cause I have to) with 10-15% ethanol.
