I have a 10/30 reservation for a 2DR BL with Sas/Mid/Tow/2.7.

If I change back to a 4 DR with a soft top and all the same options, how likely could I see a 2021, considering they may run out of buildable retail units?

I wouldn't say it's impossible but it's unlikely.

Back of the envelope:
Order books are roughly 10% soft top, let's say for the sake of argument another 5% switches due to the MIC top shitshow. All told there might be 20k soft top orders, and like 15k-18k of them are going to be reservations that are ahead of you. Considering that FEs, bad batch, and MIC VINed vehicles are also cycling through the plant in MY21 and production is cratering, there's likely to be a bunch of soft toppers waiting until 2022.

With sasquatch, I would not handicap your odds as being very good. There are a bunch of november/december reservations that have been scheduled. They're just 4 dr, 2.3, Big Bend/Base, Soft tops.

I’ll say your chances are worse than mine but that’s about all I got for you.

Better get out your magic 8 ball for this one but from what i am reading around here looks like you still have the 2.7 engine and the sas and maybe the tow that are going to knee cap your rap my man

Yeah James, beside your reservation date (mines 10/04) you still have the 2.7, and the squatch. Both of those are on constraint right now. It's not impossible, but it's highly improbable.

I think the chances are better than my BL, 2 dr, high, tow reserved on 7/14. Not being a smart ass but the top production is independent of vehicle production. If the new tops don't ramp up quickly then it's all soft tops.

If there was a 40% take rate for 2 doors than a 4 door rag top just got there reservation date moved up by 40%. Not actually because of FE's and already produced Broncos. Let's say 30% move up. So an October reservation just got moved up 4 months so basically pre July if my math makes sense to me.

8% of orders were soft tops. After Ford spent 2 months begging people to switch, it's now 10%. So, 13,000 soft top orders.

That might go up to 12% after this debacle (all us 2-Door folks are stuck).

Ford still has 3 months of unscheduled builds. They are going to build out the FE builds and essentially everything else is going to be a soft top.

What about all those late to the trailhead? I’m a July/21 reservation holder and a recent August order.

I am looking at a 23? 4 door, 2.7, SASQUATCH, bandlands, high package, tow, hardtop, is my build.

They said on the live stream if you don't have a VIN number already then you will not be getting a 2021 Bronco.
That’s what I heard as well.
