Update: Totaled. Rear Ended Hard. Frame Bent Photos

My son was stopped at a red light today and you know the rest.

Frame is bent, soft top detached, rear door stuck shut, door gaps for the rear pax door are clearly off, and door gap at the front pax door also looks a bit off but that could just be regular Ford qc?

Not sure where this is going yet but there could be a 5600 mile 2022 loaded Outer Banks on Copart soon.

Anyone care to guess the cost of this one IF parts are available?

Had same wreck at 4 days old. Wasn’t quite as hard as that and cost 10k and 6 months to do it. Hate this happened to yours.

Unless your insurance company somehow can get ahold of a frame, that puppy is a total loss. That sucks.

Well. Yes and maybe. A local Ford dealer's collision center just looked at it quickly to see if we could get an idea.

This part of the frame and the body panels can be replaced.

Along with other parts, if available, they guessed "probably $20k".

Aside from parts availability, the wild card right now is hidden damage like the floor under the cargo area that we just can't get to yet.

An older Mercedes GLE, worth about $40k with a new replacement of $60k+. So in one fell swoop this guy is going to cost his insurance company at least 60k! Glad your son is fine, wouldn't hurt to have him looked over though just to document it. As you get older bang ups start taking their toll and that looked like a pretty big hit.

It will never be the same, nor will carfax. Sorry it happened to you, but personally i'd be rooting for 'Totaled'.
