does the jeeps have a piston arm on the swing gate too? Not sure if that has been covered or not already in one of the threads but Im kind of surprised to see it on there (never owned a swing gate vehicle so I dont know if they are pretty much standard)

I don’t know about Jeep, but without it, swinging that door with a 35” tire would be no picnic. My Isuzu doesn’t have one and you don’t want to be in the way when that thing opens on an incline.

On the description on the Ford Page on interior options with the Black Diamond the 2 door rear seats are described as 50/50 split FOLD FLAT.

My question is do they fold flat horizontally but still above the deck level in the rear OR does it fold perfectly flat with the deck.

If perfectly flat with the deck I don't see any reason I'll ever remove them.
I would think with the engineering and thought that went into this, perfectly flat floor. Shit, my Escape goes flat, so...

Anybody see any dimensions of the cargo area other than cubic feet?

Is it foolish to be optimistic about the Back seats coming out of the two door? I suppose they could just be folded down or photoshopped in this pic.

4 door mode you can see the bars for the bottom seat swing forward. I was looking for storage areas and have yet to see them. Deciding factor for me will be how the seats store. I am cosmetically drawn to the 2 door, but there are so many other factors.

it appears to me to be a very underwhelming amount of storage on the 2 door...

I see what you mean, but just for aesthetics sake I'm sure they photo shopped them out. Weren't most of these images rendered anyway?

looks to me like a latch

Looks like some kind of button on the passenger side cargo area. Maybe an auto-fold seat option?

It looks pretty good to me. Definitely better than a 2-door Wrangler.

Looks like an ARB fridge in the cargo area, which fits with room to spare. Those are about a foot wide.
I had a JK and I found it had quite a bit of room. I do believe that this has a bit more rear seat space at the detriment to rear cargo. Time will tell. Maybe I haven't seen enough good images. The one you just shared I hadn't seen yet, so thanks.

The forward legs of the rear seats are weird... And swept back.
I wonder if the back seats "double fold" forward and pack vertically behind the front seats....?
You think that would be something they'd wanna show ya.
