Has anybody that's taken delivery looked into or actually done a rear seat delete on a 2 door? Search came up empty.
I’m waiting for Goose gear to make their rear seat delete and buying that. Top notch quality.

I am hoping for a single piece weather resistant, non slip, single level platform that is hinged to allow for use of the storage space (floorboard) directly behind the front seats. I also want it to attach to the Bronco using the existing bolt studs.

Maybe a good spot for on-board compressor... Inside some Goose gear 👍🏻
The little cargo spot under the panel in the back might be big enough for a small one.

I keep seeing this Weathertech underseat storage thing pop up and can't help but think how nice something like this would be in the rear seat footwell area with the seats removed.
Make a lid for it and done! Nice, clean and lightweight.

I look forward to following your progress, as I want to make my 2-door much more dog-friendly. Those studs look to be ~2" high; I'd hate to remove them and lose the ability to reinstall the seats.

You could always cut them flush, drill, and tap for bolts instead?
Have to see one in person, to evaluate better

I wouldn’t even do that. Best thing to do is incorporate the original hardware into your seat delete and have the delete sit flush with your bolts.

What is really needed is an auxiliary fuel tank that gives the 2 door an extra 10 gallons of gas and a flat rear floor. I don't need the extra seats, but a 26 gallon fuel capacity at 10-15 MPG off road would mean a range of 260-390 miles, and a highway range of around 500 miles (or a bit less, but wouldn't have to keep my foot out of it).

Blows my mind that nobody has tried yet, just for the internet cred! When my 2022 mansquatch gets delivered in March of 2030 (/s) it'll be the first thing I do. Really interested in designing a sleeping setup inside. From my rough guesstimate measurements, it seems to be a tad over 6' of space from rear hatch to the dashboard. Would work great in a pinch! My current camping rig is insane: over 9' of space and the front seats fold flat into the rear cargo area.
