Rear Speakers: Wakeboard Tower Speakers?

I don't know much about sound systems but from what I'm hearing the sound quality is not the greatest no matter what system you purchase. I have opted for the Lux B&O and am thinking about removing the rear speakers completely and installing marine wakeboard tower speakers if I can get the mounts to work. I do not believe I have seen anyone else looking at these is there a reason?

Someone around here has something similar. I’ve seen them in pictures. It can’t be any worse than stock. The problem is the line to the rear speakers is not full range

I like the idea, need to get full range to the rear, run an amp and not sure Clarion would be my “go to”...I’m toying with switching front and rear wires running good full range 6.5 rears like this, replacing kick panels with 6.5 subs and some good 4” up front, all amped?? If I ever get a Bronco...
