So sometimes I take speed bumps with a little speed. I’m pretty sure I’m hitting them square, but feels like the rear end does a swing out to the right. Is that just normal due to the rear trac-bar?

Make sure they didn't forget the rear track bar.So sometimes I take speed bumps with a little speed. I’m pretty sure I’m hitting them square, but feels like the rear end does a swing out to the right. Is that just normal due to the rear trac-bar?
That track bar is very long and it's very flat, so it would be exceptionally unlikely that you can feel any side to side rear movement. Any actually movement would be VERY slight, and for only a few inches of suspension travel virtually nothing. BTW, you can take speed bumps faster if you hit them with a slight angle. Not all the kinetic energy hitting at exactly the same time.So sometimes I take speed bumps with a little speed. Some people are more sensitive to suspension than others, you're likely noticing the axle physically moving a bit left to right along the track bars axis. Im one of the sensitive people that can feel it. Most people won't ever feel that movement though.
With that said, doesn't hurt to take it to the dealership and ask them to check the rear suspension.
You know, they call them SPEED bumps for a reason...You should slow roll thru parking lots.
Do you have the Goodyears?(Sasquatch)So sometimes I take speed bumps with a little speed. I’m pretty sure I’m hitting them square, but feels like the rear end does a swing out to the right. Is that just normal due to the rear trac-bar?
