I really hope Ford rethinks this.

Kids and pets in the back seat without good ac/heat is a problem.

This is from another thread for those of you who are more solution oriented.

I just don’t like the vents are on the floor. Drain plug near them or not, they will fill with water and rust....

They are beneath the seat, raised higher than both front and rear passenger foot wells. I don’t foresee a lot of water getting in to them unless you are blasting water directly in to them.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to be working on a design for 3d printing if someone doesn't beat me to it.

Going off what fordauthority is stating - it’s near a passive drain plug ( depending on trim ) and they specifically stated a concern about hosing out... but we will see where they are located soon versus guessing.

I for one still do not want them at all if they are under the seat.

Then you can start taking orders from those of us on here who have neither the equipment nor the skill to pull that off. ?

I wouldn't charge anything but cost and shipping for members, but I think someone will beat me to it.

@SHLYGRR has to pay full price, though. ;)

Haha I’m happy to pay full price as long as the design doesn’t BLOW....ha. Get it? I’ll see myself out...

Didn't say they couldn' t survive but for a 2021 vehicle that I will be paying over 50k for, it's a disappointment for sure. My car is 15 years old, my kids and pets have literally not had to deal without rear vents in their lifetime. It's going backwards that's bothering me.

But thanks for your thoughts.
