Don't hold your breath. The Ranger still doesn't have them, the Bronco vents are just a copy/paste from the Ranger.

I’m curious how many on the forums are aware of what vent/wing windows were/are
Fun memory, on a hunting trip in Mexico my Dad locked his keys in our 1984 Bronco. He pried open the vent window so we could get it.

You're right.

Since seeing them, I've been trying to figure out how I would reroute it for my kid's car seat (landed on using a section of corrugated landscaping pipe zip-tied to the back of the front seat). Kind of sucks to do that on a new car...

Maybe get a 4WD Tahoe with a rear AC unit instead.

FWIW - I think toys may be more likely to be stuck into side or center console mounted vents than floor because the can be reached more easily from booster seats.

I'm still bummed out about all these grind my gears troll posts and polls. Threads about the AC, and the dozen other facepalm moments already exist. No need to recreate them

I completely agree! I think it was very poorly thought out. They could have worked it into the center or the seats somehow.
There will certainly be aftermarket solutions... There already is for kids car seats but hopefully better looking then those.

Not trying to troll. Just venting (pun not intended)

Me... I'm thinking of attaching a small hose to the floor vent and run it into my vinyl seat to cool my swamp ass in the summer. Seems like a win-win to me.

I'm in my mid 20s and I know! I wish they were still a thing...even if you did have to use a matchbook to seal a lot of them...
