Ok. It does sound like they have found an issue to fix. So hopefully they just fix the issue and don't try fixing things by removing the whole option.my X is disabled and I cannot access anything until I restart usually.

It only happens to me in 4L. Not sure if it’s because I’m staying in lower speeds, or if it’s related to being in 4L. Never a problem in normal street drivingMine is a '21 in that range and have never had this issue. One would think if it were software that it would be consistent. Hopefully they don't break something in the process...
I’ve turned off the delay setting and still have the problem. It’s almost like the delay setting is ignored in 4L or somethingSo does this mean that you can no longer choose to delay when the camera shuts off? Is this really an issue or did some people complain because they couldn’t find the settings for this?
Guess we have an upcoming over the air recall. Thank goodness because it’s been super annoying when off roading for me.

Manuals as well. You have to be in 4loIs this something that effects automatics only? I hardly look at my screen, I look at those two strange things located just outside the window and the little thing in the middle of the windshield.
Has anyone got the over the air update for this recall yet via Wi-Fi I have not seen anything yet I have my bronco set up to update every Sunday morning at 1 am if there’s an update but have not seen anything yet
Funny...I was thinking the same thing. Mostly that many newer cars are using rear camera feed and display that digitally on the rear view mirror full-time instead of a standard mirror.Interesting that keeping the rear camera on is against the law (federal regs) but GM that offers a remote camera for the back of a trailer to allow you to "see" through your trailer as if it isn't there is fine and dandy.
Sorry, I misspoke.Where on the ford app do you see the recall?
