Just an FYI kinda thing here and thought I would share this random text from my original dealer (switched 2x before landing at Granger). The guy texted me yesterday and wrote that they have 4 Broncos unclaimed that they just got in and have a 2DR on the way in a few days. All unclaimed. I never told him I switched dealers but whatever, he was clearly never that interested in selling to me.

Does anyone else think it's kind of :poop:y that this place is going to have 5 trucks and many of us (early rez's too) have no line on the horizon to take possession? Further, what kind of nonsense resulted in them having 5 unclaimed rez's? I asked if a test drive was possible and he did not respond. I've seen dealers having a truck perhaps that maybe the dealer/owner ordered or a possible sale that fell through, but 5?

If and when I have a chance, I may swing by the lot to see about pricing/markups.

UPDATE:

Well, there were only 3 Broncos in the lot and 1 in the showroom. The place was closed so I did not want to draw too much attention to myself wandering around the place after dark. Not sure if I did not see one or it sold. Did not take great pictures due to poor lighting so my apologies...

So what was the markup? $20,000

This was a 4DR Badlands and the final sticker was over $80K. Again, sorry I did not get more pics but with the darkness and poor lighting, it was a futile endeavor. I may go back for a test drive in this beauty tomorrow if they allow it. I will try to take more pics in the daylight if I go.

This 2DR was the only one under a decent flood light. It's my first in-person 2DR and if she rides as good as she looks, I might just live in my new truck. My God, this thing is incredible as a 2DR!!
I did an overnight with a 2dr WT, anti-matter blue, from my dealer... It was hard to give back :p

Just got back from my test drive of the 2DR Wildtrack. Let's just say, I am in love. This is an amazing vehicle. Massive. Obnoxious. Completely unnecessary. And I want it all.

Sounds like a good excuse to get yourself on the Raptor waitlist. 👍

plenty. Some don't even have a speed limit on the Autobahn. I know, I'm from there. Just ended up here by chance, not a single bit of more freedom here than there. Actually I can think of some lacking, can buy a beer at age 16, here not even adults can walk into a bar until 21, LOL.

My life here is no different than it would be in Germany or Austria, the two countries I grew up in. It's a bit different in bits and pieces, but nothing that stands out as a glaring oppression or super freedom here or there. All just propaganda IMO.

Now let's not side track this, but as a German I just had to chime in a bit. Prost!
LOL, too funny. Fly part way around the globe and you get the same lifestyle.
Drive South of the Rio Grande however ...

I enjoyed the heck out of my 2 weeks in Germany, Father in Law is Berlin born and raised. He went with as a Tour Guide. LOL

Fiction can be fun.
Have you been recently and driven some of their class-leading vehicles?

Didn’t think so.

Dealerships are getting soft top Broncos to sell off the lot. My dealership has 5 on the lot that weren't even a order. Selling them to the first person that wants one. In West Michigan, Grand Rapids area.

Years ago spent couple months in Switzerland on business . . . met some people hiking . . . invited me to dinner couple times . . . and as you know just about every able-bodied Swiss is in the army . . . so I go their house and right there in the coat closet near front door, what do they have . . four full-auto machine guns just leaning up in the corner . . . try finding that here in the states . .
LOL, clearly you haven't been to my house.

:p

You need to quit while you’re ahead. That post made no sense.

The current Chinese new domestic car market are either cheap unlicensed knock-offs of popular car brands elsewhere in the world or old tooling making old cars in a new facility.

they’re the property of Ford, who makes them. Ford could do a better job of distributing the product they make and therefore own, like Tesla does. Or at least not like this. It isn’t socialist for a private company to control the means of distribution of capital it owns. It’s literally capitalist.
They're not the property of Ford. Ford sells them to the individual dealership, which is a third party owned business. Dealership contracts prevent Ford from selling directly to you, as ordered, at MSRP.
