Interesting. They’re still adamant the strength wouldn’t be effected over time. I disagree but only time will tell. Aren’t there tests for this though?

I got mine today
Well, its always nice to get a Valentine card from the mothership....but this don't sound like the one I'm waiting for. Ford said:

"Your Bronco is built, but unfortunately, we're having appearance and quality issues with the hardtop roof and it needs to be replaced. As a result, your delivery timing will be delayed. We will prioritize replacement of hardtops on the oldest units first and will send you an email with more detailed timing updates based on your VIN in September

I concur, that letter doesn't tell the order holder much of anything that hasn't been known for a month.

So they are sending out actual letters? This seems like a waste of time and resources. I woulda been just fine with an email update……

At least they are trying I suppose……

Wut?
”the function of the roof is uncompromised”
At this late stage it is hard to believe they actually proofread what they write.

Ford's PR department needs a real world reality check. Do they think by adding extreme they make it sound better? Oxford defines extreme as " exceeding the ordinary, usual, or expected" so not extreme at all, just every day use.

If I park my Bronco under a waterfall that would be extreme... Its great that they are admitting they messed up and fixing it, it would land better with me if they didn't try to shift blame and add "extreme"

Every time they send out something like this, Mike Levine's voice gets that much closer to Barry White's
I thought Mike only Tweet's? How does one's voice change on the internet?

I guess it's kind of like the old saying "If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?"

I just wish Ford would do something more for holding our Bronco's for an extended period of time until the end of the year. If I knew I wouldn't get my 2021 until November most likely. I would have rather waited until Spring for a 2022. And not already have a 6 month old vehicle by the time I get to drive it and for it to take a entire year hit on depreciation. It's basically buying a year old vehicle off the dealer lot for the same price you could buy a 2022.
