that was the same kind of priblem I had. After calling and mailing eight closer dealers, I decided to just go for the security of going south, to pick mine up. I finally talked to Eric, at Kearny Mesa, and I got everything in writing.

I have verbal and in writing for Xplan from Galpin Ford in Van Nuys.

So if I have a reservation through Kearney Mesa do I need to secure something in writing to get x plan pricing? Fo I need to get something in writing to get msrp? Sorry for the newb questions.

If it was me, I would still call to introduce myself.Ask for Eric and just tell him you’ve seen so many posts on the bronco6g forum that you would like to confirm with him (anything you can think of). I would tell him that this is a test to make sure that you like him as much as Dan or you might have to move your reservation. Ask him to confirm in an email.
Ask him about Broncos and deliveries and ordering and display models and anything you want. I screw with him, when I talk to him!!!

Also, so when a reservation for a bronco has been made, is there a particular sales person at each dealership that handles Broncos or is it always the internet sales person?

No, you don't need to specifically address the X-Plan, MSRP, etc., with Eric. KM Ford will honor X-Plan if Ford offers it. Additionally I specifically covered the issue of MSRP cost and ADM cost tack-ons with Eric (window etching, etc). Kearny Mesa Ford will not charge above MSRP including for the First Edition model, nor add any ADM. Don't worry about the questions, that's how we all learn. If you do not know about how to qualify for the X-Plan, there are threads on the site you can check out in advance of your purchase. Good Luck!
Right now, Eric is the point man at Kearny Mesa. Probably, at time of order or delivery, he will have a “team” of Bronco specialists to help with all of the process and deliveries for all of the anticipated buyers.
