Asside from the advanced 4x4, axle gearing, and lockers, are there any differences from a strength of components perspective between a Sasquatch and a non-sasquatch? The reason I ask, is I am considering buying base and building it.

Different front axle 190mm vs 220mm. Rear is Dana 44 on both.

As you know, except for Badlands, adding Sasquatch gets you the 4.7 gears, Advanced 4A, beefier Front axle, lockers, 35s, higher suspension, and headlock rims?

That stuff is going to cost a crapton. I would buy a BD at a min just to get the axle and lockers and build from there.

is anyone able to provide an estimated guess to the following questions:
  • will manual sasquatch come with and/or require A4x4?
  • will the sasquatch package cost $5k on the manuals? Or will it be more to account for something else that needs to be added?

Sasquatch always comes with the A4x4.
It has the lower gear ratios to help with crawling on 35" tires.

The 7M Sasquatch may or may not be exactly the same as the non-squatch 7M.
An unknown at this time.
Therefore, no actual price guesses.

I have the 2.7 and don't have that problem but find the 1-2 shift clunky and the calibration crummy overall. My Honda 10sp is smooth as silk. This is a shared trans with GM and their version shifts great. I find that the bronco shifts nice when accelerating moderately to hard, it's at light throttle that it's sucks
