Removeable Hoop Steps

Does anyone have the factory hoop steps on their truck? If so can you tell me if the front of them protrude into the front wheel well, or are they flush or short of the front wheel well? I ask because I want to order the Gatorback flaps and want to make sure I get the correct pair.

Hi Adam...This is what I'm looking for. As you mentioned these steps are available for 23MY. According to the web they are $395 option. As you know the steps can be taken off. It also said the rail will not sustain the weight of the vehicle, not a rock rail. Hope you are enjoying your truck. Thanks for doing this. Greatly appreciated. Dave

I couldn't find them on the Ford accessories site. Can you provide me with any links and part numbers? TIA

If this is directed to me all I know is on the ford.com, build your Bronco, they are listed as an option for $395. Don't have any part #, etc.

Thanks! And I think I figured out the issue regarding the steps and their availability. My guess is that Ford is not making them available to customers outside of ordering them on a vehicle. Perhaps due to availability? My Bronco was rejected by the party that ordered it and I purchased it from the dealer as is, without ever having seen the list of available options. But thanks to you I now have part numbers and maybe, just maybe, I can order them from the dealer parts department.

I added them last minute to our order to satisfy the wife and they were cheap. We have every intention of swapping them out for something else eventually although not soon. Probably to a weight bearing rock rail of some sort. Maybe you will get lucky and find a pair of takeoffs. Good luck!

Out of curiousity, I called my dealer parts guy to inquire about a replacement if they were damaged. WOW!!! He quoted me $1800 to replace them. makes the $350ish build option a real steal. Glad I ordered them.

Of course, that may explain why they seem to be scarce in the wild. Sometimes, because of supply issues, things like these steps can be like buying unobtainion with which to build.
