removing ford emblem on bronco rear door

wondering if one has to take out a vent cover to access the pins that hold the emblem to the door skin. want to change the blue to my body color. thanks for response!!

I don't think there is room to get behind it if you do remove them. The clips will break with minimal force and you can just use 3m tape to put it back on.

Mine had pins. Took the vent off and used some angled forceps to undo the pins. Just 2 squeeze types.

Cant get to it from the inside. Huge glued plastic thing in there. I just used a trim removal tool. These things are a MUST for your toolbox if you do mods. I used the 3rd one on top. Just put painters tape on your paint behind the tool.

I bought this kit from Emblem City. (https://www.etsy.com/listing/1026555220/2021-2022-bronco-sport-rear-emblem-in) It came with a tool to remove the existing emblem. The new one attaches with clips and 3M tape.

it's pretty easy to do - bunch of threads on here from those of us who took them off and repainted them. They are held on with the body tape and the clips, so use some floss to break the tape away from the body, and then you can use a plastic trim tool to press in toward the center to release the clip on one side, then the other side will come out easily. Just go slowly, and don't treat it like you are pulling a stump out of the ground.

I got mine off without breaking the clips. Good trim removal tools to release the clips and take your time.

Worthy upgrade for sure. Did color matched emblems and black horses on both Bronco’s.
