Has anyone has any luck or can give any guidance as to how I should go about removing at least the Seat portion of my second row on a 4dr? My dog freaks out when I close my soft top in the truck and leaps into the back seat from the trunk. Would really love to just take the seats in the second row out all together and give him something closer to my old f150 back. Do we thinks that’s possible??

You can remove them, just remove the bolts that hold the seats to the floor.

just those Vertical ones that seem like bars? Pictures below. I couldn’t tell if there were additional connections or wires to the back

Yes. There are fasteners in the back, I don’t think there are any wires to the rear seats.

i wouldn't remove anything that would prevent my dog from seeing out of the vehicle. in my jeep, i just lay down the back seats and put a blanket down for him. when he is not high enough to see out, he gets nervous. and he can always be close enough to stick his head on the armrest to say when are we going to get there.

The trunk area is a bit small for a dog to be comfortable. When I spent a day with my dog in a 4-door I left the rear seats folded down and looped my dogs car leash over the roof support.

The design is quite different than the two door. It all rachets down, and if you pull anything, you won't have a flat floor without creating something to stick in the space. Not sure yet what I'm gonna do. I did want to pull them as well, but after seeing it....pondering.
