you can. this is just panic porn. order it exactly as you want it. why compromise on a 50K vehicle? just to be the supposed “cool kid” on the block because you took delivery. few weeks earlier of a vehicle that’s not 100% the way you want it??The hard top I get? But I can’t get PPF? Or a hitch installed? Screw that noise.
I can easily see dropping the PPF, it's not like you don't have tons of easy alternatives!I ordered SAS, 2.7 and kept my 2 door, therefore MIC. 7/14 reservation, 1/17/22 build date. My only advice would be to others is to stick to your guns and get what you want. Trailer hitch who cares you can get one anywhere and cheaper. JMO.
I placed an order through Cutter about a month ago. A WildTrak with 2 of the constraints. ADM was initially $6k, but we landed on ~$2k or so. Where are you seeing up to $13k? That’s insane.@Ford What do we have to remove to keep dealers from marking these things up when they arrive? All dealerships in Hawaii are marking up at least $6K for a 4dr Base and $12,900 a Badlands. Forget a Wild one... looking at $20K+
From where I'm sitting, waiting for the MIC may be my only chance of getting close to MSRP. By then there will be a lot more Broncos already sold so I can get a used one or one that got turned down on the mainland... then I'm only looking at $3K to $4K ship it here.
I reserved my OBX Sept 2020 and then ordered it March 2021 and crickets from Ford except a stupid hammock amd a stupid flag.I ordered an OBX with a hard top, and that’s what I want. I have a nice vehicle to drive for at least another year. The longer the wait, maybe the better. A painted modular top would be even better.
I got my flag last night.I reserved my OBX Sept 2020 and then ordered it March 2021 and crickets from Ford except a stupid hammock amd a stupid flag.
It’s like a slap in the face isn’t it? What the Eff is happening a MAP why can’t these clowns get their crap together with the launch and production of this amazing vehicle??? It’s so frustrating I’ve been wanting them to make this bronco since I seen the concept 10 years ago. They have real”y let me down as a brand. If I didn’t hate Chrysler so much I’d already would’ve bought a wrangler. They can build those and ship em to your house in 5 weeks.I got my flag last night.
my gf promptly threw it in the trash
But that’s just it. They are already offering it as a dual top configuration in the 2022. You can get two different versions of the soft top. But the hard top is standard and you can’t get it without hard topActually... now that you bring that up, I suspect most dealers would be willing to work something out. It is in the dealer's best interest that your Bronco is built and sold to you... it pads their sales numbers. So I betcha most dealers would be willing to install the hitch/4-pin accessory with a discount on the installation fee to bring it at least in-line with the factory tow package price.
It seems like the obvious answer, so I'm I guessing the only reason why they haven't is because they just don't have a 2-door version designed and ready for production. I would not at all be surprised if they are working on one and we'll see it in 2023 or 2024, but that's just pure speculation on my part.
The obvious answer is just to approach Bestop since they already have one. But for all we know Ford already tried that approach and Bestop said no due to prior contractual commitments, or they simply don't have the manufacturing capacity that Ford needs to really make a difference.
Yet....I just received my Ranger Tremor with tow package, every bell and whistle, Lariat (built in same factory as Bronco)....3 months and 1 week from order to delivery. Waiting on 2 door Bronco since July 2020.Dropping the tow package tomorrow…first I’ve seen that listed

if I’m lucky I may get mine in 6mo. Doubt it though. Hoping before end of ‘22 tbh.
Valley Isle Ford gave me the high quotes. They blamed on it people reselling their Broncos for 10K plus.I placed an order through Cutter about a month ago. A WildTrak with 2 of the constraints. ADM was initially $6k, but we landed on ~$2k or so. Where are you seeing up to $13k? That’s insane.

If you go the alternate route outlined in the original post, you don't have anything under the dash to plug into, no 7 pin connection in the back, and the wiring front to rear you need. You only have a 4 pin connection. If you want the 7 pin connection and the option of trailer brakes or aux power to your trailer, then you want the trailer tow package from the factory. Is there a problem with the new Bronco that prevents you from installing one of these controllers? Other than having something hanging under the dash?https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Brake-Controller/Tekonsha/39523.html?feed=npn&msclkid=b3dcebb53dac123629278a1cd3e90771&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Bing | Shop - Trailer Brake Controller&utm_term=4577679225918259&utm_content=General
