Remember when someone at Ford couldn't stand the fact that the tires said wrangler on them? Well, that's the guy who created the tire shortage for sasquatch. These corporate people are very short sighted.
oh yea I remember that. What a dick. I bet he still ended up getting the crazy "pandemic bonus" the higher ups got

Sorry....is this a joke I'm not getting?

I'm half an hour ahead of you, #1 slot at my dealer, two door my only constraint(baseBase)..... but damn, this is still so early in the game....super, super freaking early.

They have only scheduled like .0001% of this years run.

You/we ain't that special dude.
They won't even make big numbers until August/ late summer.

Late May, we'll get our notice in late May.......
May-be
With all the corona fall out still happening, I have my doubts about that also.
Not saying I'm special. Just responding to the previous post about Ford having limited amounts of parts now. If they do? It's a minuscule amount of certain parts / commodities. Hopefully we'll all get build dates by the end of the month. But who know when they'll get built. September? November? We'll see.

If you don't see yourself using it for towing and don't need the wiring, drop it and get the hitch later. I feel like I paid $100 for the hitch and $500 for the wire.

Plus quite a few regular Joes have been scheduled too.
Do we know how many were scheduled for June? We know they are building dealer demos in May. We know how may priority orders there are. I'm curious how many more units were scheduled for build in June vs May.
Last I heard is they are running about 100 a day right now. I think I recall someone saying they want to ramp up to 400 per day, but I don't recall when they expect/want to reach that milestone.

Ah yes, the ol’ “identify your best and brightest employees and push them out the door” business model.

Jesus Nick, don’t you ever want these Broncos delivered?

I say lock ‘em in a room until all orders are fulfilled, and only then will they be allowed to go home to see their families.
I mean when you think about it that way 😂😂

I'm puzzled somewhat about the 2.7L. With the temporary stoppages, I would think that would free up the 2.7L from the F150s... Had there been no stoppage, would 2.7L been unbuildable??? 🤷🏻‍♂️
They're not really stopping building them right now. They're building without the chips and then parking them. Here is a new article about it.

My MY 22, which any day now will become a 23, the way things are going , isn’t affected by any of this, since imaginary things aren’t real.

Posted this afternoon by BN Mods:

What items will likely delay my Bronco from being built sooner?

· Hard top
· Sasquatch package
· Tow package
· 2.7L engine

Chips are Not an issue with Bronco:
I think I put out 3 posts on this..the Bronco uses a different chip set that almost all other Fords use.

Its a newer chipset (I think the Ranger also uses)

Not only did they know about it, but they had 150k reservation holders to ask. We've been here for a year...

Night one res, and I think I’ll get my ride in 22 based on all these listed constraints. Looking forward to a solid idea once my May email hits. Pumped for everyone to get theirs, whatever the order!

Glad the 2dr is off that list!

I'm surprised by the chip shortage comment, unless Ford is talking them from other vehicles for the already mostly guaranteed Bronco orders.
no..the Bronco uses a newer chip set than nearly every other Ford..there is no shortage for this reason.

I have no interest in getting a neutered Bronco just to have it a month or two earlier. When folks are rolling around in their 4 banger soft topped Big Bends on 32s they can seethe sitting beside me at the red light while I'm riding on 35s, a v6 and MIC. Impatience will lose this one.
