I did some reading on the net about 11 vehicle resale values after 5 yrs and was suprised at only a 12% gap between the best and worst of the top 11 ......so on a lower end 40k vehicle at best you will get is 24880. BUT the difference between the best and worst is $4,520....thats alot of bucks at trade in time IMO. So where do you guys think we will fall in line ? Ahead of F150 , Ranger etc ....what are your thoughts ? I am thinking we will be around 56% - ahead of F150 , Ranger due to the novelty of the Bronco and people not using them for work beating the hexx out of them and its cool factor. I think Jeep will continue to be ahead of Ford due to the ravenous following Jeep has. Some articles had F150 right at at 50% .

TACOMA 62.2% 24880

WRANGLER 58.3% 23320
GLADIATOR 58.0% 23200

TUNDRA 56.9% 22760

GMC SIERRA 56.7% 22680

FOUR RUNNER 56.3% 22520

SILVERADO 53.7% 21480

F SERIES 53.5 21400

RANGER 52.3% 20920

RIDGELINE 51.3% 20520

COLORADO 50.9% 20360

Interesting numbers there
As a tacoma owner I like that they hold their value ...
As someone who will keep his Bronco and pass it down to my son I really won’t care much about resale value but I tend to believe it will fall in line with the wrangler.. I hope ...

But who the hell wants to trade or sale their Bronc! Aren’t we all driving it until we need to park them in the pasture next to John Deere...
?

I don’t see why it wouldn’t be inline with the Wrangler numbers. I can speak first hand to the Taco. I bought a 2012 for $33k. Drove it for 2 yrs and traded it in 2014 with over 60k miles for $26k.

I am with you Jay...I plan on keeping mine 7-9 yrs realistically if all goes well....my First Tundra I sold at 41% residual value after 7 yrs....I considered that a win way back when.

Almost all body on frame vehicles carry good resale. Bronco may be slightly better than Jeep even at first, and then I think over the next few years they will both drop a little bit because they’re going to make so damn many.

drop another 28% if you are looking at trade in value rather than resale value. *if using dealer pricing for the retail and not private party, 10% difference from trade in to private party sales, per some Georgia price determining website picked at random on the internet.

Weird to think about resale in 5 years on a vehicle that is at best 9 months away.

But what do I know? I keep my vehicles for a decade at least.

In 5 yrs or less it'll be paid off and I won't have another car payment, not selling.

You probably won't lose much on a 2door base model with a granger discount . Those won't be available easily after reservations are over

I intend to drive mine for 20+ years. Wow, that means in 2041 there will be a vintage Bronce up for grabs. :)
