Congrats. Should be a good build to expand upon.

Reserved January 11th--- Ordered March 15th -- Got a VIN on 5/27 with a production date of July 26th.
I'm confused...did I just get away with something?

You didn't order late. You actually ordered 4 days before deadline for scheduling

Congrats!

If I didnā€™t live in the NE, I would drop the MIC top, but thatā€™s not an option. Iā€™m keeping my build as is and patiently waiting.

Awesome and congrats, you're only two months ahead of me. There might be hope for me yet... šŸ˜‚

Before this goes viral, we need to get you into the Witness Protection Program. Whatever your name is, it will be changed by midnight. And of course the worst part is that you can never be seen driving a bronco. Yep, you will be issued a government purchased.....................jeep. So sorry, stay safe.

As long as you're getting what you wanted and didn't settle for anything just so you'd get it faster then that's all that matters, and congrats!

That is crazy that they had to go all the way to a Jan 11 reservation date to find something that could be built. They are going to run out of buildable orders pretty quick at that rate.
It's impossible to evaluate this situation without knowing the specifics of his dealer. He could be the 3rd earliest timestamp and the first two are MIC orders.

Wondering if there were many build date/VIN emails this week? Happy for you, staying patient here. The whole thread shows how the pivot to "bespoke" vehicles is likely super tough for the car industry, not just Ford, and not just because of the pandemic.

After having a stock leased JL for 3 years, I wanted one I could customize. Also, my top is a pain in the butt to remove without help, so I ordered the soft top. I really like the sasquatch, but damn.... five grand??? I've worked at a dealership (Not Ford) for over 20 years. Don't want to overpay. $45,000 vs $60,000...I'll take the basic one.
Love the plan. Wish I could've done that. I knew if I went more basic with plans to customize, it wouldn't really come to fruition. So, I'm here waiting for all the stuff I want now. Congrats to you though!!!

True, but it seems like it would have had to be a pretty small dealer if the 3rd order is a Jan 11 timestamp. It's also possible he got a priority order and isn't aware of or didn't mention that.
