Retro Bronco Theme (Dip or Wrap)

I am hooked on the concept of Plasti Dip-ing my bronco to make it a Retro Bronco. Found a guy in Kyle, TX that can dip my First edition... now I just need to pick a theme. He is booked until end of August, so I'd like to get my theme locked down. I want to stick to reds / browns since I ordered a Rapid Red.

Vote for you favorite retro theme! And if you have a different one in mind, please post a picture. I'm all for suggestions! (You can pick more than one)

I plan on keeping my first edition for... a long time. However I also get bored of projects easily. I've only wrapped worked trucks, and the residue the wrap leaves behind doesn't sound like fun. Has Vinyl changed over the years?

Big time. If you found a quality wrap/graphics shop they could design and print you exactly what you want and it would last 10+ years and not leave any residue.

Do some research, read some reviews, and a good vinyl wrap company is well worth it.

Interesting feedback. I’ve followed a few you tubers that do dips… I’ve liked the outcome.

#5 or #7 but use a great vinyl wrap specialist. Dip looks like trash and is for old beaters.
A well done wrap will look fantastic and separate your FE from the crowd.
Good luck on which wrap to choose.
Did I say only do wrap and whatever you do DO NOT have it dipped?
Anyway pick a good wrap and have fun with it!

Interesting feedback. I’ve followed a few you tubers that do dips… I’ve liked the outcome.

I would dip a badge or something small. No problem - I did this on my Silverado years ago for the Chevy bow tie. Looked awesome and many people thought it was the factory black option… Nope!

Anything much bigger, I’d say wrap it. I had this done on my Audi to delete the chrome and it looked much better and more professional than dipping. Just my 2 cents.

I was already talking to a vinyl guy about a retro stripe for my BB 2-door. Your #1 just gave me the perfect reference picture for the size/chunkiness I was describing to him. Love it!
