Don't know if the subtle dig regarding the mechanical issues at 5:36 was intentional or not, but if it was... well played @MicahMuzio.

Rated for 133 lbs, should be good to go.

Some of the people with the new Falken Wildpeak tires though... whew... that's cutting it a little too close for me.

Meh, I have the A/T4W in 35x11.5R17 that are C rated and they weigh in at 68 pounds. Add the wheel and I am nowhere even close to max capacity.

Yeah the 11.5"-wide sizes aren't too bad, that size is on my consideration list.

The more common 12.5"-wide sizes are around 80 lbs though—chunky.

I mean, no shade to my Jeep-owning friends, but our Bronco continues to function flawlessly. I'm still waiting for the catastrophic predictions when we first bought it to come true.

In my defense, the trail is a 5 out of 10. I aired down a reasonable amount, given the difficulty, while minimizing time spent airing up. Even so, I kinda love these GIFs. :)
I appreciate this (and your many other videos) Micah. I traded in a 2019 Bullitt Mustang (in Dark Highland Green -- not black!) for my 2023 Bronco and your KBB review of the Bullitt still stands out in my mind for its humor, production values and smiles per gallon. Well done!

Wait, you've got a cactus gray Bronco AND you got your Bullitt in the right color? That deserves a hi5. 🤚 Seriously, thanks for the kind words. Cheers!!

So what is up with an F load rating? Surely a C or D is coming?

That weight is cutting it close. I would expect some sag over time with the standard hinges, depending on how you use your vehicle - e.g., heavy off-road, street only, etc.

A D-rated 315/70R17 is coming in 2025.

And in 2026 a C-rated 35x11.50R17 and D-rated 35x12.50R17 is scheduled. The latter has a lower load rating than the 315/70R17 coming next year, so that'll probably be the better option overall. Just depends if you want to wait for 2026 or not.
