When I ordered my Bronco, I wasn't sure what mat choices would be available so I ordered it with the factory Ford rubberized mats. Even after other options became apparent, I kept the factory mats with the order just because they looked fine and I could always add different mats for not too much money.

When the Bronco finally came in, there were a couple of things that I didn't love about the factory mats -

1. The 2nd row mat comes in two pieces. I've never been a fan of this from the standpoint of using the mat for protection. It leaves a gap in the mat that could allow whatever you are trying to keep out to make its way in.

2. This doesn't apply to this review so much but the front mats don't go high enough up underneath the gas pedal.

Because I have had great luck with Husky X-act Contour mats, I knew that was going to be my first choice for floor mats in the Bronco. Because I have the washout floor, I contacted Husky to verify that these would be the right mat for this application. Their response is in the quote box below.

we do recommend the X-Act Contour for the vinyl floors. They will have the nubs on the bottom but since they are a rubberized material, they won't scratch the flooring. If you need anything else, please let me know.

I haven't received the front mats yet but did receive the 2nd row mats today and am not super happy with the fitment of the 2nd row mats. I have some pics as examples and a short video to better describe what I'm saying. I'm posting this for two reasons - so that others here will know what they are getting when they order these mats AND for Husky to hopefully see it and let us all know if they plan on altering the design for those with washout floors. I think these could be great mats if they only sat flush against the floor. I'm hoping the front mats fit better.

Long story but I had trouble getting the Husky fronts as well. Ended up with WeatherTech. Now I’m mismatched but oh well…. I like the WeatherTech. I do have Husky in the Ridgeline and happy there.

My front row Husky Contour mats should be here tomorrow if FedEx does their job. I'm hoping they fit better than the rears.

I'd really like Husky to take a 2nd look at their scans or whatever they use to mold the mats. They likely need separate molds for rubberized floors vs carpeted floors.

I'm also curious about the fit of the Husky Weatherbeater mats with rubberized floors. Hopefully someone can chime in and give some input on fit.

I got my front ones a couple weeks ago. They fit great but I agree on the second row.

Well, there goes my carpet vs rubberized floor theory. Looks like the 2nd row just doesn't fit well regardless.

looks like you have the weather beaters and not the x-act contours?
Ordered either the end of October or the beginning of November and just got them. So definitely X-Act Contour because the Weather Beaters deliver within a week.

How hard is the mats for Husky and Weathertech? Those pics don’t look like they’re kind on feet when you kick off the flip flops.
My current vehicles are Hondas and their OEM mats are a soft rubber with a single mat across the back. I’ve got a black diamond coming so not sure what mats to get to be similar to those I had in the Honda.

Well, crap. My Husky Xact's for front and back get her Thursday. If the back is annoying, I might try to change them out for weathertechs.

Just to clarify, is your's a 4 door or 2 door?

I got the Husky WeatherBeaters and they fit pretty much perfect with the washout floor but... I shaved all those carpet gripping nubs off.

Anybody on here have the weather techs for the rear only?

Like I said I'll have my huskies Thursday, but if the rear looks like this I'm gonna return that portion

Right now, Weathertech only offers floor mats for the front row.

For those that have ordered Husky and are unhappy with the 2nd row fit, please contact Husky and let them know that you are having an issue. If we don't let them know, they will likely never fix it.
