Hey B6G!

We recently linked up to carry the full @Mountains2Metal line here at Lethal Performance and I decided to pick up a few things for my own Bronco from them, including their roll bar Molle panels, Tailgate Reinforcement & LCA skids. I also got their Molle tire grip (for when I want to mount a Roto-Pax up easily) and their Attic Shelf, which is such an awesome product but I don't have the holes on my roll bars so working on a solution for that one!

REVIEW: These products are really well made. Nice and sturdy, super nice powdercoating, and 0 Issues with fitment or install. I would 100% recommend their line and will most likely be adding more to my list!

Ford Bronco Review & Showoff: Mountains2Metal Roll Bar Molle, Tailgate Reinforcement & Control Arm Skids i-D7FK74F-X3

Roll bar MOLLE: These are a welcome addition to add more storage in the back and free up the cargo floor. I normally have 2 large bins and a bag with recovery gear so any extra space I can make is nice! I also have a DV8 storage compartment on the way to make even more room. They are super sturdy but do not impact the view from the rearview at all, even with stuff mounted up. I'm in FL where it likes to rain just about every day right now so I don't have any feedback on removing the top with these in place but there seems to be plenty of room to get my arm in there. A set of Rockworkx or similar would probably help. Click here to snag your own.

Tailgate Reinforcement: This piece is really nice. I like that it supports my 37" tire and aftermarket wheel much better and has a relief for the Bronco emblem. I also like the ability to add more accessories to it. Click here to check out the product itself.

LCA skid plates: These install very easily and are just added peace of mind. While FL doesn't have much rocky terrain, you never know what you'll encounter on our roads  Click here to check them out.

Joe here, aka "Average Joe", did a nice little overview of them and covered the install basics if you want to check it out:

M8 rivnuts. Get a decent install tool as it makes things easier. I have one like this and it's sufficient but does require a little effort: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003TODXQW/

The rivnuts I had wanted a 7/16" hole and I found these drill bits worked ok to get things started but weren't great for keeping the holes round: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B9ZPWHXC/

Step bit is the way to go for making the holes round and really cutting into the rollcage metal. I bought this one after-the-fact as it has a 7/16" step: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000RP5Z1W/

Make sure you're using cutting fluid while drilling. Keeps things cool and gives the drill bits good bite while keeping them from breaking as easily. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003X3ZKXI/

This is a satisfying project, and installing the @Mountains2Metal attic shelf is probably the most useful update I've made to my truck. It's a brilliant product.

That reinforcement bracket looks a lot like the $90 RC one just without the RC cutout. Wonder if there is a difference in quality to warrant the extra cost. Legitimately wondering as I’m looking into them right now.

Please secure that shovel, if you get into an accident, it will be a bullet straight through someone's head. I used to fly EMS and I have seen crazier shit.

I don't have an RC one here to compare but it looks like the M2M is a smidge thicker. I also liked that it was more solid and has the ability to mount accessories to it down the road. I'm sure they both do the job so it would depend on your needs.

It didn't last even 2 mins up there because it rattled. It's back in my gear bag lol but thanks for the heads up. That would not be fun.

Those wheels on that color is 👌
Method 703s. They are really popping. So many comments. Had a stack of local PC 5-0s checking her out as they came into the Chick-Fil-A last night. She is getting noticed.
