Road Trip possible issues?

I am embarking on a 1500 mile road trip in two weeks in my brand new Bronco OB. After reading about all the issues like radiator hose leaks, fires and electrical issues, I just hope that I make it out of the driveway!. Are these issues that common, or are these very isolated? Worried!!!

You should be fine. Check tire pressures, lug nut torque, and fluid levels within the engine bay.

You have to remember that we are but a small sample size of total bronco owners. Also most people don't typically create a profile on a forum to praise their vehicle.

I just did 3200 miles to Moab and back along with a few trails while there. The Bronco had zero issues.

My Bronco is 9 months old. 2-door manual, wired in pocket and ditch lights myself (knock on wood no fire hazard). Other than the transmission grumbling it's been great, going on 20k miles. Had one round trip MN-AZ, no issues. I did get the extended warranty though, peace of mind. Enjoy!!

I'm going to do a cross country trip in a month (coast to coast) and probably 7k miles or so. I'm not worried about the Bronco whatsoever. I will have a tie rod kit but only because I'll be doing some off-roading.

I've put around 9,500 miles on my 2021 2.7, last fall I took it on a 1k mile road trip around Alaska and loved every second of it.

prepare best you can and go have fun. If something happens it happens but don't let fear stop you from living. This is your Thursday therapy session...

You're being dramatic. I've put 17,000 miles on mine in the last nine months. If anything was going to happen, it would happened by now.

If you are worried about it on a road trip, you should sell it because it's junk. Any brand-new vehicle (I don't care what it costs) should be able to do a 1500-mile road trip without mechanical problems.

I was being semi-facetious. I not worried about my new Bronco. I'm more worried about spending 25 hours alone with my wife!

20k on my '22 Wildtrak... No issues. I've never heard about the issues you bring up, besides the Rest Area fire.

Trips:
WV -> Oregon (Idaho, Utah mostly off-roading). WV - > Maine and WV - > South Carolina.... I really wish this was as quite as my F150.
