So just sitting here wondering who (company) will be the first to come out with some carbon fiber or fiberglass roadster door inserts like could be had with the Gen 1 Bronco's?
I've been thinking about the best way to do this the last few days as I doubt many would want any kind of permanent install that requires drilling or bonding. What I came up with was a shell that attaches to the body via the hinges the same as the factory doors in the front, and in the rear would be a bracket that secures the rear of the door to the striker. This would make it non-permanent and make it fairly easy to swap out the full doors for the roadster inserts in just a few minutes.
