I just can't get over how ugly the four doors are. They only look passable in non-shouty colors, imo.

This color on a two door? Probably looks awesome. Four? Blegh.

Has their been any news of the Webasto factory (Is it even them anymore)? I searched Google for anything new and pretty much nothing. One thing of interest was their contract was for 2018-2026 and were already into scheduling MY23 so 3 years left on the contract.

I've been (im)patiently waiting like others hoping that Ford and Webasto get it straight. I originally had the black mod on my 21 order only for it to go from late availability to no availability until now back to late.

Fingers crossed, knocking on wood and spitting over my left shoulder that this is the year.

That top looks like MIC gray non-painted.
I AM CURIOUS ABOUT PAINTED TOPS-THOSE THAT HAVE PAINTED THEIR TOPS:
Do you believe it will help "seal" the MIC material? Will painting help prevent some of the common issues we have seen with MIC tops; delamination, fish scales showing through (would this show through the paint as well). Will painting help seal the bare cut type edges on the MIC.

I doubt that's a painted MIC top and definitely too black and smooth to be a standard gray one.

My original want for a mod top was that it was going to be paintable. I went from black, hoping there'd be white to now having white. Since that time and hearing all the issues with the MIC I'm glad I waited.

I don't like that at all. The colors aren't working for me. I do like that black accent on the rear panel though.

So much better looking then the White Wheel version. OMG those were ugly. Som eslot mags or a rally strip might look good and still be 'heritage' vibe. Maybe a random dent and some rust in the floorboard for authenticity.

Totally concur. I cancelled my order because Ford dropped the black MOD top for 2023. I’ll get back in line in a couple years when (if) they get their shit together by then.

Side question - For the square fender flares, is the actual sheetmetal on the fenders different? What about the rear door? I'm trying to figure out if the square fender flares are a quick swap to the regular models. thanks.
