I love rock crawling, it doesn't have to be the highest dollar rig or the most powerful. It takes some skill and finesse to not tear up your rig every time. But sometimes it happens, and part of the fun is coming up with a solution to get home. Part of it is putting through the woods and seeing pretty stuff you'd miss if you were going faster. Part of it is hanging with your buddies, something cold in your hand and a good tune on the radio. Part of it is meeting new buddies and helping them get past an obstacle. Part of it is maintaining the trails, and minimizing yours and others impact. Part of it is seeing trails that were originally built for wagons and horses and all the history and ruins that come along with it. I have my FJ40 for most of this, but it's 54 years old and won't last forever. The Bronco won't go to all of these places, yet. It'll still be my daily for a while. But I'm buying it, built the way I want to take the Cruiser's place down the road, er... trail.
