I just want to preface this with a:

Yes I actually use my truck off-road. Had it for a month, done 100 miles of trail riding and plan on doing a stint at Drummond island later this summer. This apparently is a pre requisite to not be labeled a ‘mall crawler’.

Have a SAS Wildtrak, no rock rails. I am chipping paint like crazy. The flares are peppered so bad I can’t run a cloth over without catching. Have the entire truck wrapped in ppf and it still makes it through.

im looking for a solution to the rock problem.

Weather tech guards are hideous, Ford doesn’t make a mud flap, and I can’t get runner boards from them if I tried. Does anyone have a solution or product they can point me in the direction of?

Same truck. I'm a mall crawler, for sure. Even still, too many rock throws for my comfort level.

I'm slowly trying to mitigate by adding the OEM powder coated tube steps. I'm also planning on the Mabett flaps from Amazon while they're 40% off, and I'm going to grab the pinch weld covers from Ford as well.

I think the combo of those three things should make me feel better, and hear less rocks on my paint, and if I still hear/see them, I'll consider ppf'ing my doors.

I had my window tint guy do the clear-bra vinyl over the lower portion of the doors.

It has taken a beating and saved the paint.

Its barely noticable and very functional.

I don’t like mud flaps either but I also don’t like stone chips. It’s a tough decision for me because I take excellent care of everything I own.

I ordered Rekgen standard length mud flaps made for the Bronco. There is a Rekgen post on here that convinced me to buy. I have a Wildtrak with the side steps which help catch some of the rocks.

Do you still have stock sasquatch tires?
I changed at 14 mi. to an aggressive mt tread no issues with zero degree offset.
Those Goodyear grab everything.

I have rekgen front mudflaps and zroadz step sliders on my Wildtrak. Works great. I'll post pictures later.
