I was wrong. Sounds like they’re $2300 for Gladiator but around $1900 for 4-door wrangler.

understandable, I've seen a few pinch weld mounted things and that just seems like a bad idea. Lets be honest though serious rock crawlers will get weld on sliders and not care about how hard it is to get in. These seem, to me, to be a good half way option.

They have sensors. Watch the YouTube vid, guy sticks his hand right in and it stops on contact. Like a garage door kinda

Although it’s a cool idea and can appreciate the benefits of having a powered step, I’d prefer none or if I had to get one, a fixed one. I know there’s some ”cons” to this, however it’s one less thing to go around. And always concerned about dirt, mud, snow, freezing, etc. for a powered option.

Wait are you joking or did someone already announce they're going to have a lambo doors kit? I know that would look silly and stupid, but this is already my completely impractical silly vehicle.

Im glad it's an option for those that can benefit from it. But I'd never put this on mine. I'll just hook my cane around the roof rack and swing in Tarzan-style if I gotta.

To each his own I like them because if you want a step for easy in/out access the Rock Slide engineering step doesn't hang way down like a tube step ( making the vehicle look lower) also there is a dash mount switch to turn off so they stay up but I am willing to bet you will leave the switch on because it makes it easier to climb in and out especially with something in your hand (drink?), the magnet switch sensor works flawlessly on my Jeep tube doors and/or hard doors and best of all they are rock sliders to protect your rockers.
