I received a set of these the other day. Impressed with the quality but there is a fitment issue with the 4th mounting hole, closest to the seats (4 door). Part of the hardtop molding interferes with the knurled flange, preventing the bolt from sitting flush and tight. I have a 2nd gen hardtop and can't tell if it is different from the original - curious if anyone else has encountered the same issue.

Holy crap I want to buy these and have to remain patient, hoping for a surprise Cactus Gray entry into the color selection!

So how large is the gap (height and width) between the two anodized sections, I didn't see it listed in this thread or on the manufacturer's website? I'm trying to figure out what I can or can't attach there.

thanks,
Herb
The opening is 0.665" wide and 0.367" high

When you remove your top, do you put those back in place? Or do they fit in the toolkit pouch provided?
I would put them back in place. Now that I've had them a couple weeks, I love the tie down points they provide. Very useful product. Honestly, Ford should had something like these from the factory.

I will have blue in about 6-8 weeks. Feel free to send us your contact details via our site and I'll let you know when they arrive. Cheers, Grant
Any update on the blue option? I never heard back from an email inquiry I sent to the website.
‘Thanks!

Hi, Sorry for the delay:) We are running load-bearing tests on the Gen 2 version tomorrow and I expect the new anodizing color samples to arrive next week. As soon as both are signed off we will be starting the next production run. I will send a message out to everyone who is on the waiting list as soon as we confirm the production schedule. Thanks for your patience!

My solution was a nylon spacer that raises the fastener enough to clear the molding.

Thanks for sharing the pics! This is only happening in one location, correct? I think the spacer is a great idea, I think we can add something similar. We will have to track down a Gen to the hard top to test. Thanks again!

Correct. It's only the most forward screws, on both sides.

A quick update on the Hardtop bolts. We have the final Gen 2 design prototypes complete and tested along with the new anodized colors. Loving the newest addition - green.:) Full production has just started and will take about 6-7 weeks to complete. We are taking discounted pre-orders on our website, and I will also post when they're ready to ship. Cheers, G https://www.rockworkx.com/collections/jeep-hardtop-hardware

These are nice and have been following for a long time. But, how does price go up even more for a pre-order? And, how does a prior delivery estimation go from mid to late April to now mid to late May? Really liking them but not sure they are worth it now.
