Correct, the Torx T40 sets will work, they are all the same M8 thread. So the forward quick removal two-pack fits the same holes as the regular 8-piece hard top D-ring set? Just confirming ordering 10 of those will work to secure the entire hard top (as long as we don't want the d-ring part)?
lol, I like it! Tough choiceJust ordered 2 sets. Couldn’t decide which will look better I’m my Cyber Orange truck, orange or black??
You are not the first person to ask. Clear anodize could be an option but not sure it will look that great. I will check with my anodizing supplier to see what the options are.Are you guys going to offer these beauties in silver grey? This, to go with Oxford White, my color combo ... : )
Apple products are designed in California, but built in China. Is this hardware going to be built overseas eventually because the cost to produce them here is "through the roof?"All our products are designed & tested here in California. A partner facility I have worked with for 15 years now, based in Dongguan does the CNC'ing, assembly, and QC for the bolts. We have tried making them here in the US but each bolt has 7 parts, assembly alone drives the cost through the roof. So production on these will remain there for now. The accessory straps we are working on will be done here. -G
Clear anodized, or silver anodized T.Y....Sign me up!You are not the first person to ask. Clear anodize could be an option but not sure it will look that great. I will check with my anodizing supplier to see what the options are.
Sorry, just a little confused, where are the "forward" thumb ones meant to go?Correct, the Torx T40 sets will work, they are all the same M8 thread.
Its the two bolts that are up on the roll cage for the hardtop clamshell. The 8 bolts down low are useless for me if I still have to get tools out for the 2 up top. I challenged grant to find a way to make those tool-less as well and he came through.Sorry, just a little confused, where are the "forward" thumb ones meant to go?

They replace the 2 forward bolts (one on each side), which are accessed once you remove the 2 smaller hardtop panels above driver and passenger. Hope that helps.Sorry, just a little confused, where are the "forward" thumb ones meant to go?

We can do that. Would not come in retail packaging for now but could split some. Send me a message at [email protected] and I will take care of it. GA 2 pack of the loop screws would be nice. Just using them for attachment/tie down points and not replacing all the hardtop screws.
