That's very nice!! I bought a winch and some straps. Looking to make it easy to remove my back top. I hope to work on that some this weekend.

today I learned I am in the have not category 😔
By the looks of the background, he's got a shit ton of kids (or grandkids), and I'm quite content to have not any of those 😂

But I'd still find a way to fill up that awesome building!

Pretty cool but I need something shorter than a Sasquatch Bronco since that doesn’t even fit in my garage.

What talent! This looks amazing.

The PVC/foam tube solution for my doors will look like childs play compared to this.

This is your $1M deal. I like to see the Hot Pepper Red. This is my color, someday.
I think thats a first edition badge which would make this Rapid Red and not Hot Pepper. Wish Rapid was still around.

Very well done.
To a giant degree, well done.
I love the minimalist footprint, use of space, layout, and final product here.
That took some know-how and careful planning.

Very neat, much like the colossal shop in the background.
I had a large shop at one point.
But then bought all kinds of cabinets, workbenches, equipment, parts, and now it's full.
I miss the simple, clean, available floorplan days.
Much envy here!

Am I the only one who didn't even pay attention to the rack? 🤠

I have wanted to build a rack like this for a while as I have the same issue as everyone else when taking my top pieces off and my doors, Where do you you put them and how do you keep them from being in the way and getting beat up.

I had a rainy day off and got after it. Its all built with 1'x2" rectangle tubing, i put it on casters so i can roll it out of the way.

The general idea for design was in my head but had no idea how it would all fit and nest together but overall it works pretty well.

I have some foam strip ordered to pad all the areas of contact and cap ends for all the open pieces of metal to finish it off. The top portion needs a little modified for the main top to fit on but no major changes.

First and foremost, your FE is absolutely B.E.A.Utiful!!!! Nothing beats Rapid Red with bronze wheels on these. NOTHING! People tell me regularly that mine is best color they have seen.
Love your rack system. I saw that you will be posting measurements, that is a big help. Will try to do this as well.
So glad you work VERY hard to have all the great stuff in your shop that you have. I too have garage envy. And by that, I mean just the garage/shop alone. Nevermind all the cool stuff in it. Thinking about using my points to help pay for the door bags. I probably should have ordered them when I got it but I do not have a garage to park in, so I will rarely take off the doors.
Why did you not use the driver/passenger top bag for those 2 pieces?
Thanks so much for sharing.
Would love to see the '93 Mustang SVT Cobra!!

Rapid, Race, Hot Pepper I guess I stand corrected. Don't want to get it wrong.

Dang tough crowd.... Next time I guess I will have to drag my projects out to the field to take photos. kidding..... maybe. All in good fun right.

Its rapid red
The shop has been a project for a long while and my ocd to keep it clean I guess pays off.
I also considering building the rack shorter to stack the doors 4 wide to not be as tall to but the back piece on but then i would have as much room for the middle piece.
The door bags make me feel a lot better when carrying them around and keeping them protected.

I feel like this whole post is a brag. Oh, I had a day off, let me make something brilliant. Let me include my awesome stuff in the background. LOL!!! In all seriousness excellent job. You could sell these to a lot of people.
I would buy one. Even with a 2 door this would sill be handy.
