My Mini Cooper S roof rack hold up to 165lbs. Maybe it has to do with the rack being connected to the top of the windshield frame.

why would tires interfere with the roof rack?Apparently you can’t get the roof rack with a 4 door on 35s so no 4 door squatch with roof rack. My STi roof rack good for 150 lbs!
likely rollover or other crash test/handling legality issues.why would tires interfere with the roof rack?
Sasquatch changing the CoG would be the only thing I can think of.why would tires interfere with the roof rack?
That's EXACTLY why it's rated like that, and why the Squatch isn't available with rails. Are you planning on being on being on the roof while your car is driving down the highway? It’s probably rated that to prevent rollover.
With all the accessories expected, I'm hoping there's a good solution for two Hobie kayaks at 80lbs each.Apparently you can’t get the roof rack with a 4 door on 35s so no 4 door squatch with roof rack. My STi roof rack good for 150 lbs!
was literally just looking for thisFrom the interactive accessories thread, id imagine a rack like this would up the poundage substantially wouldnt it?
If not, then look at it like a good reason to lose some weight ?
Depends on how the rear braces are routed: outside like the front (notice it blocks the tailight) - maybeYou think you can slide the rear roof part out from under that?
