Is there enough room under the hood on the 2.7 for dual batteries and/or an ARB compressor?
Thanks

From what I've seen I'd say you'd at least have room for the compressor. That was the location I was planning on going with, so when I checked it out in person I was looking through that lens

Thanks. I do have a heavy duty NOCO GB150 that I could carry inside if a second battery won't fit.

there are photos of a compressor mounted here somewhere, but I don't remember which engine it was. Pretty sure it'll fit, I think it was on the passenger side close to the window. Dual battery might be a bit trickier to do.

There is not much available real estate under the hood. I think you should be able to do the compressor. A second battery is going to take some creative relocating of existing components.

For sure an ARB compressor, ARB had a dual compressor installed in their demo Bronco. Although, I am not 100% sure if that was the 2.3 or 2.7.

This ARB tiwn air compressor is in a Badlands. Not sure if anyone can tell if we are looking at a 4 or 6?

I would try to mount it in the back. You should be able to mount the compressor and possibly battery (I’d suggest something smaller) in that rear cargo area. I would like to mount a retractable hose reel in there too. All mounted under the floor in the rear.

I wish Ford would offer a factory mounted ARB air compressor and some legit frame mounted running boards / rock sliders instead of the body mounted ones as accessories. They are pushing a WARN winch so it's not a stretch to ask for?

The way @Ford Motor Company is handling the reservations and ADM, we should not be purchasing accessories from them.
There will be equal and better options for less $$ from the aftermarket.

Every 4 cylinder I’ve seen has only 2 plugs on the firewall. This has to be a six. Unless that third plug is for an automatic.

I’m new to the concept of dual battery - but, it’s an interesting concept to me for the fridge. In digging into Forscan I saw a module to enable it. I don’t have a screenshot handy of the options - but, next time I’m logged in I’ll take one.
