Found a way to get the fish coolers and rod holder rack to the front. The Rough Country Winch Mount is super solid. Turn around the top plate to get the fairlead out of the way and it is a solid surface for a receiver hitch. This puts the rack way up at headlight level and does not interfere with clearance. Now you don't have to unload a cooler of fish to open the back gate because rods and cooler are up front.

Now you make me wonder if there's room to weld one in here. I have a winch using the top.

It looks very doable. Only thing is I wanted to mount my camera right there.

@66GT came up with a relocation bracket, I think he was working on getting a bunch made.

Is there a reason (besides aesthetics) that a receiver mount needs to be centered? It's not going to be used with anything while driving, right? Wouldn't welding it into the inside corner of the mount would work just as well? Getting the locking pin in and out through a hole in side would be easier, too.

Just thinking outside the box here.. but if you mount a receiver on each side, you could slide removable lights 2" in square stock in there when they're not being used. The outside edges of the receivers would frame them up nicely.

Another option would be to mount larger lights using slide-in 2" square stock as the mounts. Would be super clean... but if I remember right, you've got high pkg with parking sensors... so that wouldn't work for yours.

I have a front hitch in my JK that has proven very helpful. I even have a 12k lbs winch that I connect to it when we go off road so I don't lug it around daily.
But that front hitch on the Bronco is not aesthetically pleasing to put it mildly...

I’ve been lurking here as I am think hard about a Bronco to replace my F150. One of the things I’ve been interested in are options to mount a rod/cooler rack on the front. Curious to see where you end up,with this. On my F150 I had two receivers welded to the frame just below my bumper for my cooler rack. A suburban I had before that had two bolt on receivers. I’ve had racks that bolted onto the bumper in the past but just for, rods and no cooler.. The hitch options are nice in that I would take it off when not heading to the beach and could handle the weight of a cooler. Two of them made it more stable also. One thing I’m not crazy about on my current tuck is how low the receivers are. Have to watch the approach angle. Ended up having my rack modified to sit higher.

what’s behind the two hooks? Would,it be possible to replace the with hitches?

I've got a receiver mount on the front of my F-250 for parking trailers.
Having it off-center probably wouldn't work as well.
Your mileage will vary...

A bit off topic for the OP's intended post...but I am extremely interested in this camera relocate setup if @66GT offers them up.
No great options exist currently without some outside-the-box thinking like he did here already.

and, OP, nice setup there with the fishing apparatus.
