Its all done!

The JCR pre-runner bar doesn't lean quite as far forward as I was hoping, but overall I love this setup.

I'm going to keep my eyes open for a camera mount that can mount directly to the round tube, and maybe relocate the winch control pack under the hood to clean things up just a little. All in all its a pretty bolt on setup that has no loss or compromises in any factory capabilities and features.

@JcrOffroad any plans to make a camera mount, that mounts to you pre-runner bar? It could mount tucked under and a smidge back. on the bar.

The prerunner doesn’t interfere with front camera.
No but the winch does. Some like myself do not like the camera to be the first thing out front. I think where he was going is if it could hang under the pre runner bar and have some protection for the camera.

Roger that. If there was no interference, they wouldn't offer the camera relocation kit. Just sayin.

Also, had no place to put my license plate, so I kinda made my own out of some stuff I found in the garage (it’s required in Texas).

I like where you license plate sits - can you take a few photos of the bracket and describe how you did it? Looks great!

This mount worked perfectly for what I was going for. Subtle and the cost is nice. I would like a bull bar to go just above the fairlead in front of the winch.

honestly, I got the cheapest stainless fairlead license plate holder, but (clearly) it wouldn’t work to I removed the fairlead connection part and added 2 brackets to hold it in place, then added two bumpers to stop the screws from digging into the car. Works very well actually.

I got mine installed today. Turns out it’s a pain to relocate the control pack for the Warn evo, and due to that it’s also a nightmare to connect to the Aux switches. Full disclosure, I did not do the install myself, I read the directions and said… nah. But my install guy did say the RC light didn’t fit and the had to expand the opening to make it work. Yes there are a bunch of wires behind the winch, no real place to store them.

I'm going through the install of a Warn EVO 10S on the RC mount, and ran into the issue of the sensor "Locking Plate" being too big/deep to fit with the biggish Warn winch, regardless of how much I grind off a corner of the locking plate; as a result I won't be using the locking plate to keep the sensors from falling out of the hole on the mount. What did you use to keep the sensors in place; in the photo above, a wire is blocking the view, so I can't see. I also see that you have the sensor wires coming in from the side, which helps keep the sensors in place... just wondering if you have anything else in there to keep sensors in place and working properly. Thanks for any comments.

Well, here it is, with a few more things left to do to make it operational, but the tough stuff is done.

I'll be using the included Warn fairlead, as well as the Warn control box relocation kit, likely attached to a BAMF bracket in the engine bay.

How did you solve for the tight fitting sensor locks? I'm evaluating winches, already purchased the mount. Considering this VR with the BAMF relocation.

I would remove the VR and 10s stickers to clean up the appearance.
