I installed the 2.25" rpg collars up front with the 1.5" in the rear. Install was about what I expected. I did them with some spring compressors while leaving the coilovers on the bronco. There's not much room to work with in the front, but the rears were very easy.

40x13.5x17 cooper stt pros on method 305's in double black with 0mm offset.

Removed the little plastic "fins" on the sides of the front bumper and there's no rubbing under normal driving.

I spoke to Mitchell Watts from TC Customs at Super Cel TN this year. He’s using the Eibach spring kit for his 40s. He told the only issue he had was bottoming out at high speed and hitting the fenders in the rear. Foust Motorsports has some nice bumps too kits if this is an issue for yours as well.

Yeah I was thinking the back of the rear fenders will be an issue first, especially with the rear suspension being so soft.

I know it looks like the rear mudflaps will make contact first. Also though if you push on the mudflap you could pin it back for a tad more clearance.

I'll probably flex it out in the fields at my house and see how close it is.

My stock braptor gets 13.5 mpg and I keep it under 3K rpm and drive it easy. What are you getting after this?

I just put them on, so not sure yet.

I do know that I recently did a 300 mile trip in mine when it was stock and when I got there I still had like 40 miles till empty according to the gauge. That's a little over 16mpg using the stock tank size of 21.2 gallons.

That's about 95 miles of interstate running 85mph and the rest around 60-65mph.

Mine’s a good bit of stop and go so that makes sense.

Oh yeah, stop and go kills it and running 85+ does too.

The milage tanked on the interstate running that fast.

Looks awesome! Man the Braptor just looks great on 38-40s...I'm leaning towards going with 38" Nittos all around.

Toss the rear mudflaps. Looks better without them and may give the added clearance to lot rip the flap, liner and flare.

Looks awesome! And great to know the collars can be done while left on the vehicle without having to remove the spring/shock assembly from the vehicle.

Did you happen to measure how much actual lift you got from the collars? I am Looking to do the same and you got your stance nice and level. My situation has the added change/weight of a winch on the front, stock Modular bumper with the JCR high mount winch plate and PreRunner Hoop. So I’ve been debating on how much extra collar I need on the front to account for the added weight/rake created by the extra 100lbs on the front bumper.

The 40" tires are too large. They aren't proportional with the rest of the truck.
And when you go off road, there's going to be a lot of crunching due to inadequate clearance. The tires are simply too large.

I blew a front flare off that way, hit the mudflap, doesnt take much and its a harder hit than you think.

Well that would be your opinion. I think they're more proportional to the giant flares/wheel openings than the factory tires.

Looks good to me, and it'll be fine for light-ish offroading. I've got sxs's for the more extreme stuff anyways.
